NLPt Psychotherapy Foundation
The NLP Psychotherapy Foundation course is held over twelve days and split into three modules. The course is designed to supplement your existing NLP and therapeutic skills.
Successful delegates will have developed and be able to apply Foundation Level Psychotherapeutic Skills in their work.
Successful completion of this training will allow delegates to:
- Develop a robust framework for contracting, appraising and concluding client / therapist relationships in an ecological way.
- Use a proven methodology for history taking.
- Develop a transparent and robust code of ethical practice.
- Have an increased awareness of supervision techniques and skills in self supervision.
- Have the ability to write and present case studies.
- Develop clear boundaries regarding scope of practice.
- Have an increased awareness of the use of reflexivity and the use of self in the therapeutic relationship.
- Have an awareness of the contribution of several key contributors to the world of psychotherapy i.e. Jung, Freud, Erikson.
- Learn additional useful models to augment their existing ‘tool kit’ and as a result increase the efficacy of their work.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be certified by the International NLP Trainers Association as a Practitioner of NLP.
